BIOLOX®delta: a material well suited for the manufacturing of orthopedic implants with superior MR imaging
ZTA ceramic components are electrically non-conductive, non-metallic and non-magnetic and therefore suitable for MR imaging. In a comparative investigation, CeramTec’s novel TKA device made of BIOLOX®delta and a metal knee implant of analogous design were tested in an MRI environment.
The results of this study will be presented by Dr. Yvonne Mödinger, Scientific Affairs Manager at CeramTec, at the 2023 EFORT congress in Vienna. Yvonne will be available in the auditorium to answer questions on the afternoon of May 26.
